Credit Cards Now Accepted
You can pay your entrance fee or purchase a park pass with your Visa, Master Charge, American Express or Discovery Credit card at all entrance stations including the new 4-unit Beaver Meadows entrance station. Your can pay your campground fees at the campground. They also accept the old fashion tender called "cash"!

Individual & Family Entrance Fees
Automobiles: Fee is $20 and is valid for 7 consecutive days, including date of purchase.

Pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles and mopeds: $10 per person, not to exceed $10 per vehicle and is valid for 7 consecutive days including date of purchase.


Passports
GOLDEN EAGLE PASPORT:
Good for one year for entrance fee at all federal recreation areas where entrance fees are charged - $65 per year. Includes National Parks, National Monuments, National Historic Sites, National Scenic Riverways, National Seashores AND National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Tennessee Valley Authority and Federal Fish and Wildlife Services areas. WEBMASTER'S NOTE: This pass is also good at  Mt. Evans. 

NATIONAL PARK ANNUAL PASSPORT:
National Park Annual Passport for all National Park Service Facilities (National Parks, National Monuments, National Historic Sites, National Scenic Riverways, National Seashores)- $50 per year. (For an extra $15 you can add a hologram stamp to the National Park Pass and it becomes the same as the Golden Eagle pass.)

GOLDEN AGE PASSPORT:
A lifetime entrance pass issued to citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. age 62 and order. A processing fee of $10 is charged for each pass issued. There is no application, just show an ID with your age on it at the entrance station and they will issue your Golden Age Passport.

GOLDEN ACCESS PASSPORT:
Free lifetime entrance pass issued to the blind or permanently disabled residents of the United States.

Annual passports will cover the entrance fees for the passport holder and members of their immediate family, as defined on the back of the passport. Annual passports cannot be used to cover entrance fees for an entire group.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
ANNUAL PASSPORTS:
ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK ANNUAL PASSPORT:
RMNP Annual Passport allows unlimited entry for one year to this park only - $35 per year.

JOINT ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK and ARAPAHO NATIONAL RECEATION AREA ANNUAL PASSPORT:
This new joint annual pass is valid at both Rocky Mountain National Park and the adjacent Arapaho National Recreation Area (ANRA). The ANRA is made up of 36,000 acres and includes Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake and Monarch Lake.

The new joint annual pass is good for 12 months from the purchase date and sells for $50, a $10 saving from purchasing two separate passes and $15 saving over the Golden Eagle Passport. Both areas honor Golden Passports. The joint pass may be purchased at Rocky Mountain National Park entrance stations or at the Forest Service office in Granby. The new pass admits the purchaser and any passengers in their vehicle to Rocky Mountain National Park and the ANRA.


Commercial Tours
TOUR FEES:
Members of groups (church, school, recreation district groups, and organizations, not qualifying for educational fee waivers) are charged $5.00 per person over 16 years of age for entrance into Rocky Mountain National Park.

A fee will be assessed commercial tour vehicles based on passenger capacity. This means the total seating capacity, not the actual number of people.

Annual passports may not be used to pay for commercial tours.


Educational Fee Waivers
EDUCATIONAL FEE WAIVERS:
A waiver of entrance fees may be granted to institutions conducting educational studies related to the resources of the park.

Fee waivers must be requested, in writing on the institution's letterhead, at least two weeks prior to the visit. Include a statement about your group's educational objectives.


Camping Fees
RESERVING CAMPGROUNDS:
Reservations for summer camping at  Moraine Park  and  Glacier Basin  Campgrounds can be made starting January 1 for up to 5 months in advance. Call 1-800-365-CAMP (2267). Fees are $20 per night per site while the water is turned on. $14 per night when the water is turned off. Reservation period is from mid May through September for Moraine Park and mid May through mid September for Glacier Basin.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED CAMPGROUNDS:
 Aspenglen ,  Longs Peak ,
and  Timber Creek  Campgrounds are on a first come, first served basis. Fees are $20 per night per site while water is turned on. Aspenglen is open from mid may through mid September.

YEAR AROUND CAMPGROUNDS:
 Moraine Park ,  Longs Peak  and  Timber Creek  are open year 'round. Longs Peak Campground is for Tents Only.

You can pay your campground fees at the campground office with cash or credit card.

Golden Age & Golden Access Passport holders receive a 50% discount on camping fees!


Group Camping
GLACIER BASIN GROUP CAMPSITES:
Open from late May to mid-September. Reservations recommended. Camping fee $3 per person. Tents only. Small sites fit 10 - 15 people, medium sites 16-25 people, large sites 26- 40 people. Reservations are recommended.

You can pay your campground fees at the campground office with cash or credit card.


Backcountry Permits
BACKCOUNTRY SITES:
There are 266 established sites and 48 cross-country zones in Rocky Mountain National Park. Backcountry camping requires specialized equipment and hiking skills. Pets, bicycles, and firearms are not allowed in the park's backcountry or on any trail.

BACKCOUNTRY FEE:
A $15 administrative fee is charged for each backcountry permit issued. Backpackers must obtain a permit from the park's backcountry office. Call 970-586-1243 for more information.
