You can earn a Junior Ranger badge when you help Rocky
Mountain National Park protect the park. When you arrive at the Rocky, go to
the Visitors Center and request a copy of the "Junior Ranger Log Book",
complete the 7 tasks (activities) in the log book then review your activities
with a ranger. The 7 activities involve 1) keeping the Rocky clean, 2) not
feeding the wildlife, 3) exploring the natural community, 4) identifying
ecosystems, 5) mapping the Rocky, 6) safety planning and 7) joining a Ranger
Program. When you have completed the 7 activities and taken the Junior Ranger Pledge, a Park Ranger will sign your certificate at the end of the booklet and award you an official Junior Ranger Badge! |
